Ashley Barnes has rejoined Burnely Football Club, the club confirmed. Ashley Barnes will be with the Clarets until the end of the season. "After officially leaving Norwich City by mutual consent, the striker has put pen to paper on a deal with the Clarets until the end of the season." the club has written on their website.

“It feels fantastic to be back home! Burnley has been a massive part of my life for over a decade, and I can’t wait to pull on the Claret shirt again.” Barnes told Burnley website. The striker is expected to start his second debut in the derby on Saturday against Blackburn.
“I know how much this match means to the fans, it means just as much to me. They can rest assured I’ll be giving everything for this club every single time I’m wearing the Burnley badge.”
The 35 years striker was previously played for Burnely between 2014 and 2023 before joining Norwich City on 2023.
